My husband was in an accident and we were devastated at the thought that we would loose everything and possibly that our lives would never be the same. Northland Injury Law is the best!! September of 2024, I was in my first car accident in my life. I was rear-ended and my car was totaled. I’ve never had any experience working with a lawyer in my lifetime. I retained legal services with a well known law firm that you hear on the radio or see advertising everywhere. Unfortunately, I did not do much research or did not read reviews because I really stressed out and was in soo much pain which is why I made a decision too quickly. After I competed my treatment for my injuries, the other law firm stopped communicating and responding for a very long period of time. I felt abandoned and that felt that they did not care about my case. Something told me to do some real research and look at many reviews as possible on that firm. There were soo many terrible reviews and soo many people who had similar issues as mine. It felt like I read thousands of horrible reviews. Over and over again! Long story short, I started looking for a new law firm. I wanted a firm that was more local and not as large as the other firm. I came across Northland Injury Law. I did research on the firm and looked high and low for reviews. Northland Injury Law has soo many 5 stars and stellar reviews. I sent them a message online and Mariah responded almost immediately. I told her my situation and that I was looking to change law firm by April 1st, if the other firm did not respond. Mariah was soo nice and very helpful with any questions. She was very responsive and followed up with me a few times to see how things were going. Still no response from the other firm. Mariah then started the process of helping me transition over to Northland Injury Law. The process was very smooth and I felt good energy the entire time. I do feel that work comp should have been made to pay for one of my doctors bills after work comp told me to find my own doctor that would work with work comp, so I did and that they would take care of it, but when it came down to the final settlement, work comp refused to pay for this doctor and so now I’m stuck with the bill of over $500 and now I’m having to go through my old insurance company to try to have them run it through to see if it will cheapen my bill. I feel like that was really the only thing that could’ve been fought harder on, but was told work comp lawyer wouldn’t budge on it.
